Carbon Capture

Home    Research    Members

The Reimer group is part of a multinational collaboration aimed at developing materials that decarbonize the atmosphere. Teaming with researchers from USA, Europe, and Asia, we study solid adsorbent materials that capture of carbon dioxide from the air or the exhaust streams of industrial processes. Metal organic frameworks are one class of materials that may be designed for such purposes. The video below is a 20-minute lecture by Professor Reimer on the context and motivation of our carbon capture research.
